Nothing is Impossible...
After getting 73.80% in the 12th science stream I was depressed because I never thought I will get such a percentage. Without wasting a time for second, I started searching for colleges which would fit in my percentage. I desperately wanted top Government colleges but finally I made it to Government Engineering College, Godhra for Electronics & Communication branch that too with tuition fee Waiver :)
I knew I had only 2 years left to make a decent CGPA. I
started studying hard and at the end of the 7th semester my CGPA reached to
7.8. And I made little extra effort and finally I got 8.02(75.20%) CGPA.
Now the big challenge was how I am going to study with the
available resources. I always used to make a handy notes for each subject just
for last time revision. I do make short term and long term plans accordingly.
That year my college just established for B.E people. So, Not that much good
infrastructure and somehow i passed 2 years with 7+ CGPA.
A new and vast infrastructure campus was waiting for me...

After passing out in 2013 with 8.02 CGPA, I started to give
AMCAT and Elitmus exams. But unfortunately I was getting BPO and marketing job
calls. Wasting 2 months time for these exams, I forwarded to ask my Facebook
friends if there is any openings in their MNC. Also gave an interview at MNC, Vadodara But they rejected me in the HR round without having any valid
and strong reason.
Then I found one group on Facebook “Banglore Job Seekers(BJS)”. Also tried Rawandale.com for the off-Campus news in Pune. Trust me, These two groups will help you a lot !!!

Then I invested my time a lot to search and sent my resume
to various MNCs through BJS. Fortunately I got a calls from IBM, HP, HCL, IGATE
as I am having 70+ academics. And few of the MNCs were held interview calls in
Pune without any gap. So, I had to put my efforts for practicing the Aptitude
and Verbal during travel period. It was very hectic. I was getting rejected in
1st or 2nd round of the interview itself.
I had only one interview left of IGATE which was held at
Mumbai. I reached early at the mentioned location early in the morning. There
were around 300 people like me who were standing in the long row. One IGATE
employee came outside and greet us warmly. Then they started procedures. So,
After clearing 1st and 2nd round at IGATE, I was confident enough that
I can make this job offer. In HR round, I tried to convince and told about
myself. They just want to know personally nothing else.
I found easy rounds at IGATE as compared to other MNCs. Also people were very humble and friendly in the interview.

After one week, I got an appointment letter for Software
Engineer post. Indeed I was damn happy when you see people around you
struggling to get a job and you made it.
I learnt one thing during my struggle that “If you don’t
know something then tell them you don’t know. Don’t show off. Yes, I know many
people who show off and impress people. Don’t try to be like them. But have a
curiosity to know. Tell and Prove that you can learn and do something which you
do not know. That is enough.”
